Stags draw away at Doncaster

Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough says last night's point at Doncaster is a ‘good result’ but feels Stags ‘should’ve had the three points’ despite injuries to four players.

Alfie Kilgour, Callum Johnson, Aaron Lewis and Hiram Boateng were all forced to be replaced in Mansfield’s 2-2 draw at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Despite the injuries, Stags came from behind twice to salvage a result thanks to goals from midfield duo Louis Reed and George Maris.

Speaking to iFollow Stags post-match, the boss said: “I think a point is a good result but when you see the game and the way it went tonight, we still should’ve had the three points, despite all those things going against us.”
