A suspect has been charged after a series of shop thefts in Mansfield.
Officers have been investigating a series of offences at supermarkets and convenience stores where food and alcohol have been stolen.
Jamie Cooke, aged 38, has been charged with nine counts of theft for alleged offences on 27 and 28 April, and for others on 1,2,3 and May.
Cooke, of no fixed address, was due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Friday.
Sergeant Kieran Loftus, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Shop thefts have a serious impact on local retailers and staff, and we are constantly working with businesses to catch offenders and prevent offences before they occur.”
