Oar Blimey rowers prepare for charity challenge of a life time

George Nelson and Russell Davis are rowing across the Atlantic to Sint Maarten in the Caribbean to raise awareness and provide funding to help people living with dementia

The duo start their journey from Portugal on the 1st of December and their big row, covering 3,500 nautical miles, is expected to take around 90 days to complete.

They hope to raise a quarter of a million pounds to help their chosen charities - Our Dementia Choir with Vicky McClure and Help at Hand in Mansfield.

They are now looking for donations and sponsorship.
