Crich Tramway Village re-opens after disruption caused by Storm Babet

Crich Tramway Village, near Matlock, had to close to the public from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 24th October, due to a power loss at the visitor attraction, following torrential rain and local floods.

Staff, volunteers and outside contractors have worked hard to get power restored to the site, and the Tramway Village will now re-open with normal winter hours from Wednesday 25th October 2023.

Trams will run to Wakebridge and back until further notice, as some work is required at Glory Mine and all facilities are available.
