Who are "B & J Carpets" ?

B & J Carpets was formed over 25 years ago by a husband and wife team Brian & Jane Cooke. They started trading from a small shop on the Kirkby Road, Sutton In Ashfield and through hard work and a commitment to service, word quickly spread making it a thriving business.

 

Expansion began when the current owner took over the business in 1987 and through this expansion it has now become the largest carpet & vinyl stockist in the Sutton In Ashfield area.

 

A bargain could always be found which is still true today. This trading style made the store very popular indeed, so together with helpful staff and excellent fitting teams B & J Carpets became the only store in town to specialise in floor coverings.

Over the years there have been many changes to both the building and to the interior layout. B & J carpets have always tried to stay ahead of any changes in colour and design. At present natural colours are very much in vogue so the store offers many natural shades in twist pile or structured natural from stock, and because B & J Carpets are able to buy 100's of rolls direct from the manufacturers the retail price is always massively competitive.

 

B & J Carpets have built an enviable reputation for quality and service at discount prices, because  of these key facts 80% of their business is by way of repeat custom. However the company is well aware that for continual growth new customer need to be attracted to the store and because of this B & J Carpets are very active in all areas of promoting their store. There is now the new website bringing yet more visibility to B & J Carpets.
